We talked about his early years in London, his editing of Siècle à mains, meeting Anne-Marie Albiach, his extraordinary poetry interview program for France Culture, as well as his trips to the United States.

Claude Royet-Journoud is a French poet who lives in Paris. His first book was published in 1972. In the 1960s, Royet-Journoud edited Siècle à mains with Anne-Marie Albiach and Michel Couturier. He has also coedited two anthologies of American poetry. Keith Waldrop has translated a number of his books.
