Andrew Mossin

Andrew Mossin has published six books of poetry, the most recent of which is The Fire Cycle (Spuyten Duyvil, 2020). He is also the author of a collection of critical essays, Male Subjectivity and Poetic Form in “New American” Poetry (Palgrave, 2010). Forthcoming is a profile of the poet Rachel Blau DuPlessis, scheduled to appear in Hyperallergic in August 2020. He is currently at work on revisions of a book-length memoir, A Son From the Mountains, related to his adoption from Greece in 1959 and the years that followed in Washington, DC, with his adoptive parents, Iris and Richard Mossin. Portions of this memoir have appeared under different titles in ConjunctionsNew Ohio Review, and Ergon: Greek/American Arts and Letters.  He is an associate professor in the Intellectual Heritage Program at Temple University in Philadelphia.
