Lewis Hammond Stone
Lewis Hammond Stone was a poet/writer/activist in New Bedford, Massachusetts, when Steve Prygoda met him at University of Massachusetts–Boston in the 1980s. Stone organized a series of successful readings at the Roche-Duff-Jones House in New Bedford, helping to expose and encourage new voices. He was also instrumental in a Tenzone interview with John Wieners, but fell out of touch shortly after the publishing of issue 2 of Tenzone in 1991. Stone passed away in 2010.
