Episode 4: Sarah Riggs
Sarah Riggs is a writer, artist, filmmaker and translator. She has published poetry books with 1913 Press, Burning Deck, Reality Street, Ugly Duckling Presse, Chax, and more. Riggs’s second Chax book, Eavesdrop, is just out, and The Nerve Epistle, a book of letter poems, comes out with Roof Books in 2021. Riggs is currently working on a film, “Invitation to the Species,” which looks at how we can respond to what is happening to us with momentum as peoples on a common earth. In our conversation we discuss the work of poet Etel Adnan, whose poetry is included in the Rail Park, as well as Riggs’s recent translation of Adnan’s book Time.
