Stephen Voyce
Stephen Voyce is associate professor of English at the University of Iowa and a research affiliate at both the Digital Studio and the Center for the Book. He is the author of Poetic Community: Avant-Garde Activism and Cold War Culture (University of Toronto Press, 2013), the editor of bpNichol’s a book of variations: love — zygal — art facts (Coach House Books, 2013), and the director of the Fluxus Digital Archive. His articles appear in journals such as Modernism/modernity, Criticism, and Postmodern Culture. Voyce’s most recent work investigates cultural representations of twenty-first-century warfare, surveillance, and security. He is currently at work on a book entitled “Dark Worlds: War, Culture, and the National Security State.”
