Sojourner Ahébée

Sojourner Ahébée writes stories about African diaspora identities and the eternal question of home and belonging. Her poetry and journalism have appeared in The Atlantic, The Academy of American Poets (Poem-a-Day), WHYY (NPR Member Station), Rewire, and the Hear to Slay podcast (hosted by Roxane Gay and Tressie McMillan Cottom). In 2013, Ahébée served as a National Student Poet. She is a recipient of the MacDowell Fellowship.
