Riccardo Boglione (Genoa, Italy, 1970) lives in Montevideo. He holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a curator and art critic. His research focuses on avant-garde movements and graphic design and on the relation between words and images. In 2011 he founded Crux Desperationis, the first journal of conceptual writing. Among his books: Ritmo D (Gegen Press, 2009), Riscrivendo l’illeggibile (Ocra Press, 2011), Extremo Explicit (Yaugurú, 2014), and It is Foul Weather in Us All (Ma Bibliothèque, 2018).
