Riccardo Boglione

Riccardo Boglione (1970) was born in Genoa, Italy. He received his PhD in Romance Languages from the University of Pennsylvania. He now lives in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he is an art critic and art curator. His main interests are the European and Latin American historical avant-garde and conceptual literature. He is the founder of Crux Desperationis (2011–), the first journal devoted entirely to conceptual writing. He has published, among others, Ritmo D (Gegen, 2009), Extremo Explicit (Yaugurú, 2014) and It is Foul Weather in Us All (Ma Bibliothèque, 2018).
