Marcus Salgado
Marcus Salgado earned his PhD in Comparative Literature at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. His research focuses on surrealism, anthropophagy and electronic language. He is a founding member Grupo Decollage, and author of A vida vertiginosa dos signos, a collection of essays on surrealism, erotic art and electronic music. As a musician, he's taken part in some of the most representative festivals of digital culture - such as Midia Tatica Brasil (2003), F.I.L.E. (2004), Hipersonica (2004) and Isto é Música?/! (2004). He lives in Rio de Janeiro.
