Janet Neigh

Janet Neigh’s research areas include global modernism, poetry of the Americas, Caribbean studies, and transnational feminist theory. Her current project, “Recalling Recitation in the Americas,” examines the influence of nineteenth-century verse recitation culture on twentieth-century performance poetics. She is an assistant professor of English at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. Her critical work has appeared in the Journal of Modern Literature, the Journal of West Indian Literature, and Modernism/Modernity.
