Hillary Gravendyk

Hillary Gravendyk (1979–2014) was a poet and scholar. She was the author of the acclaimed Harm (Omnidawn, 2012) and the chapbook The Naturalist (Achiote Press, 2008), and her poetry was published widely in journals including American Letters and Commentary, The Colorado Review, 1913, and Fourteen Hills. An accomplished scholar of American poetry and disability studies, Hillary was an assistant professor in the English department at Pomona College until her death in May 2014.
