Steve Prygoda
After gaining degrees in Liberal Arts and English Literature at the University of Massachusetts, Steve Prygoda moved to Providence and eventually to Boston where he currently lives and plays in his band, My Own Worst Enemy. He was an acquaintance and passionate supporter of John Wieners. He wrote the song “High Energy” as a tribute to Wieners, which he performed at the Jack Kerouac birthday celebration at the Old West Church in 1997 and at the John Wieners Memorial reading at MIT in 2002.
