Sonnet L'Abbé

Sonnet L’Abbé is the author of two books of poetry, A Strange Relief (McClelland and Stewart, 2001) and Killarnoe (McClelland and Stewart, 2007). She has written reviews for the Globe and Mail, the National Post, and the Toronto Star and has worked on the editorial team for the peer-reviewed journal Canadian Literature. This year, L’Abbé was shortlisted for the CBC Literary Award in Poetry. She is currently completing a PhD dissertation on the American poet Ronald Johnson at the University of British Columbia.
