Nguyễn-Hoàng Quyên
Nguyễn-Hoàng Quyên translates, writes, and curates visual art. After graduating from Stanford University, she has labored with artistic and poetic collectives in Vietnam, including Sàn Art, Nhà Sàn Collective, and, most intimately, AJAR Press. Her texts have appeared in Words Without Borders, Transpacific Literary Project, Voice and Verse, and various exhibition catalogs.
Currently Quyên’s working on an English translation of the Vietnamese novel Chronicles of a Village, a constellation of memory fragments by author and educator Nguyễn Thanh Hiện.
