Jennifer Ashton

Associate Professor of English

Jennifer Ashton teaches at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is the author of From Modernism to Postmodernism: American Poetry and Theory in the Twentieth Century (2005) and edited The Cambridge Companion to American Poetry Since 1945 (2013). Her articles have appeared in ALH, ELH, interval(le)s, Modern Philology, and Modernism/Modernity, and she is one of the founding editors of nonsite.org. She also currently serves as Chief Steward of UIC United Faculty (IFT-AFT-AAUP AFL-CIO Local 6456).
