Carolyn Roy

Carolyn Roy is a London-based dancer and writer with a performance practice of presenting what is happening as our bodies meet their continually shifting physical, social, and cultural environment. How we encounter our world. Her work is concerned with attention, perception, and relationships. Over the past few years, projects have explored the political potential of being with companions and strangers, most recently through “The Work of Not Doing: Companionship Scores.”
