George Evans

George Evans has published poetry, fiction, translations, political commentary, and essays in periodicals, anthologies, newspapers, and online, internationally. His poetry was twice featured in Cid Corman’s Origin (1980 and 1983), and he edited the two-volume work Charles Olson and Cid Corman: Complete Correspondence, 1950–1964 (National Poetry Foundation, 1988 and 1991). His poetry books include The New World (Curbstone Press), Sudden Dreams (Coffee House Press), Wrecking (Shearsman), and Espejo de la tierra, a bilingual collection translated by Daisy Zamora (Casa de Poesía, Costa Rica).
