Libbie Rifkin

Libbie Rifkin teaches English at Georgetown University and is the author of Career Moves: Olson, Creeley, Zukofsky, Berrigan, and the American Avant-Garde (Wisconsin, 2000). She has published articles on twentieth-century American poetry and poetics, with a recent emphasis on gender and the poetic friendships of Denise Levertov and Robert Creeley, Levertov and George Oppen, and Oppen and Rachel Blau DuPlessis. Her work in progress includes a collection of essays on gender and poetic friendship, coedited with Anne Dewey.
