Kasia van Schaik
Kasia van Schaik is a South African–born, Montreal-based writer. She is the author of the poetry collection Sea Burial Laws According to Country (Desert Pets Press, 2018), and her writing has appeared in Electric Literature, the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus, This Magazine, Prism International, The Best Canadian Poetry Anthology (Tightrope Books, 2015), Menstruation Now: What Does Blood Perform? (Demeter Press, 2019), and elsewhere. Kasia is the fiction editor for carte blanche, the Quebec Writers’ Federation’s literary journal.
