Catherine Fairfield
Catherine Fairfield is a writer, teacher, and public scholar. She earned her PhD in English and Women’s Studies at the University of Michigan and received her BA in English at the University of Exeter. Her writing has been published in ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, Animal: A Beast of a Literary Magazine, The Mighty, and other venues. She won the University of Michigan’s Dorothy McGuigan Prize for Best Essay on Women and can always be found reading and writing about the intersections of more-than-human environments, disability, and feminism.
