Alexis Pauline Gumbs
Alexis Pauline Gumbs is a queer black feminist poet, scholar, and troublemaker based in Durham, North Carolina. She is the founder of the Eternal Summer of the Black Feminist Mind Intergalactic Community School and the coinstigator of the Mobile Homecoming Project, an experiential archive amplifying generations of Queer Black Brilliance. Alexis is the author of Spill: Scenes of Black Feminist Fugitivity (Duke University Press, 2016) and the coeditor of Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Front Lines (PM Press, 2016).
