"ModPo" live webcast session on "Tender Buttons"

On September 2, 2013, Al Filreis gathered together Julia Bloch, Rachel Blau DuPlessis, Bob Perelman and Ron Silliman and meet through a live webcast with students in the "ModPo" course (modern and contemporary American poetry) — some thousands of them from among the 35,000 enrolled in this free, ungraded, non-credit course. A few ModPo participants traveled to the Kelly Writers House, while most others watched a live video stream and had the option of posting a question to a discussion forum or telephoning a question. Calls came in from the Philippines, Crete, Israel and California. The poets responded. This is a recording of the entire session. The topic was Gertrude Stein’s Tender Buttons.
