Michael Gottlieb

Michael Gottlieb is the author of twenty books. His latest, Mostly Clearing, will be published by Roof in November 2019. Other recent titles include: What We Do: Essays for Poets, I Had Every Intention, Dear All, and Memoir And Essay, his account of the early days of the Language school. “We Will Never Speak of This Again,” and “The Dust,” his poem about 9/11, have been adapted for the stage. Selections from Mostly Clearing will be staged at the Poetry Project at St. Mark’s in November to mark the publication of the book. He works in tech and divides his time between NYC and Connecticut.
