Kyle Bella

Kyle Bella currently resides in San Francisco, California, where he is working on an MFA in creative writing at Goddard College. In addition to his schoolwork, he is an accomplished freelance writer, having published pieces in Huffington Post, BuzzFeed LGBT, Colorlines Magazine, Truthout, Bilerico Project, and Bluestem Magazine. His essay on queering racialized bodies was adapted from his undergraduate thesis, which was titled “Queerstory: Notes on an Architecture of Desire.” In May 2013, he will also be launching a book project called Queer Embraces, using a three-month journey through Brazil, the US, and Canada to explore the links between queer identity and the concept of home.
