Erín Moure

Erín Moure’s latest book of poetry is the theatrical poem-clamor Kapusta (Anansi, 2015). In 2016, three of her translations of poetry from Galician and French were published: Chus Pato’s Flesh of Leviathan from Omnidawn, François Turcot’s My Dinosaur from BookThug, and the iconic nineteenth-century Galician poet Rosalía de Castro’s New Leaves from Small Stations. In spring 2017, Wesleyan University Press will publish a forty-year retrospective of her poetry: Planetary Noise: Selected Poetry of Erín Moure, edited and introduced by poet and scholar Shannon Maguire. Fall 2017 will see her translation of Wilson Bueno’s Paraguayan Sea from Nighboat Books.
