Amy Catanzano

Amy Catanzano is the author of Multiversal (Fordham University Press, 2009), selected by Michael Palmer for the Poets Out Loud Prize and recipient of the 2010 PEN USA Literary Award in Poetry, and iEpiphany (Erudite Fangs Editions, 2008). Her poems appearing in Jacket2 are from a project, “Quantum Poetics: The Word and Its Earthwork,” in which Amy investigates poetry in relation to theoretical physics. Excerpts of this project have also appeared on Jerome Rothenberg’s website Poems and Poetics and elsewhere. Most recently, Amy taught in the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, where she also served as the administrative director of the Department of Writing and Poetics. She currently lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
