Sara Wintz, new at PennSound
New author page: Sara Wintz

PennSound's Sara Wintz page is new. It features her reading from Everyday Fashion at Quiet Lightning Poetry Series, Conservatory of Flowers, San Francisco, on August 16, 2012, and a second reading from Everyday Fashion, this time at Small Press Traffic, San Francisco, March 4, 2012. From not quite a year earlier, we have both video and audio recordings of her reading from Walking Across a Field We Are Focused on at This Time Now (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2012) at Condensary, in Oakland, on June 18, 2011. Finally, we have a recording of Sara’s Segue Series reading at the Bowery Poetry Club in April of 2011. Sara Wintz’s work brings together text and theater in a practice that encompasses research, poetry, and performance. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Small Press Traffic, the literary arts non-profit based in San Francisco. Her work appears in the anthology The Sonnets: Re-Writing Shakespeare (recently published by Telephone/Nightboat Books).
