John Landry

John Landry was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, where he served as poet laureate (2007–2010). During the 1990s, he edited the magazine collision, and recently was a contributing editor for the fiftieth anniversary anthology of San Francisco’s Beatitude and for the New College Review. He now gathers poems for the Newport Review. His book quién va a podar los ciruelos cuando me vaya (who will prune the plum tree when i’m gone) was published in 2010 by Editorial Cuneta in Santiago Chile. He lives in California.
