Chris Martin is the author of three books of poetry, most recently (Coffee House, 2015), winner of a Midwest Independent Booksellers Choice Award. He is the recipient of grants from the Mellon Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, and Minnesota State Arts Board. In 2015 he cofounded , an organization dedicated to helping neurodivergent learners transform their lives though writing. In 2016 he cofounded , a publishing concern at the intersection of poetry and politics. He teaches at Hamline University and Carleton College.
