EDIT is a roving events series pairing innovative performances with focused critical responses toward an exploration of editorial strategies in contemporary writing and the arts; it is curated by Danny Snelson. Adachi Tomomi (family name is Adachi), born in Kanazawa, Japan in 1972, is a performer, composer, sound poet, installation artist, and occasional theater director. He studied philosophy and aesthetics at Waseda University in Tokyo. His improvised poetics include voice, live electronics and self-made instruments. The “Tomomin” — a handmade electric instrument — is familiar to many musicians.
